Popular with some of the younger families, the Upper Mission / Kettle Valley area of Kelowna has some spectacular views, newer (often craftsman style) homes, and with a quaint little coffee shop and brand new schools, it’s definitely got a safe, beautiful, smaller community feel. Schools include Chute Lake Elementary and the new Canyon Falls Middle School. The hiking trails up behind Kettle Valley are popular year round, and there’s even some opportunities for ATV’s and bikes. Some of the newer developments in the Upper Mission include Iron Horse Estates, Trestle Ridge and the Quarry.
