The Lower Mission – considered one of the most affluent areas of Kelowna – has beautiful beaches and parks, restaurants, gyms and wineries and; although you may not find as many views in this areas (except for Westpoint Drive), you’ll find some very beautiful homes and neighbourhoods. Home of the popular H20 Fitness and Aquatic Centre, and the CNC gym and recreational facility, the Lower Mission attracts many families looking for a quiet lifestyle, but still want a great trendy vibe with popular stores like Urban Fare and two fantastic Starbucks cafes. Schools include Okanagan Mission Secondary School, Dorothy Walker Elementary School, L’Anse au Sable Ecole, Willowstone Academy, Immaculata Catholic School, Kelowna Christian School, and Ann McLymont Elementary School. This community also has the lovely Mission Creek Greenway (spectacular in the fall for walking), and many smaller, but very popular Kelowna golf courses. The Hiking trails up behind Crawford Estates range from easy to hard, and you can even find some spectacular water falls in the scenic rural hills.
